Cheesy Rice Recipe

Introduction

Cheesy rice Recipe dish is one of my favorite dishes because it goes well with every meal. You can prepare it at home right now. This is a favorite of both children and adults, and they ask for it again and again. I often use up the cheese I have lying around at home. And so the best way to do that is to use up the cheese bags that are just used.

Taste: cheesy and quite delicious. Butter or good-quality oil available at home adds the perfect savory and salty flavor to fried chicken and papdi.

Simple things in one pan: It is made from common household items like rice, butter or ghee, onions, chicken broth, milk, and cheese, etc.

Changes: It has fibrous thin chicken and chopped broccoli florets. You can add peas here.

Sharp cheddar is also a good choice for the taste. You can also use black pepper to enhance the flavor. What I like most about this dish is that it is quite easy to make. There is no room for error in this; be sure to make it at home and try it out and customize it to your liking.

Ingredient Quantity Notes / Tips
Basmati rice 1 cup Rinse until water runs clear to remove starch
Water 2 cups And you can use chicken or vegetable broth for a good flavor.
Butter 2 tbsp Unsalted preferred
Onion 1 small, finely chopped Optional: sauté until golden

Cheese 1 cup Cheddar, mozzarella, or mix for best flavor
Milk or cream ¼ cup Adds creaminess
Salt ½ tsp Adjust to taste

Step Instructions
1 Rinse rice under cold water and drain.
2 Take butter or ghee in a pot and melt it on medium flame, and fry the onion and garlic in it until soft.
3 Now add the rice and keep stirring for a minute or two, for taste.
4 Now put in water, add salt and pepper, and boil it well.
5 Now reduce the heat to low and cover the pan for 15 to 20 minutes and simmer until the rice is cooked.
6 Now turn off the heat and continue stirring until the cream and cheese are completely melted and creamy.
7 Garnish with chopped parsley or spring onions. Serve hot.
